Eutory exists to close that gap. We research, verify, and profile EU-headquartered companies across every major industry — making them discoverable to the consumers and businesses who want to buy European.

We're not a marketplace. We're a directory with an editorial opinion — we curate, we verify, and we recommend. Not every company that applies gets listed. Not every listed company gets the same weight.

Every brand we list is reviewed by our editorial team. We research the company's founding story, current ownership structure, and operational footprint before deciding which verification tier applies.

We write about companies honestly. If we're reviewing a product with an affiliate relationship, we say so. If a company has changed ownership or moved its primary operations outside Europe, we update or remove the listing.

Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial recommendations. We would rather recommend a non-affiliate EU company than an affiliate that doesn't genuinely serve our readers.

Consider Volvo. Founded in Sweden in 1927. Culturally and historically Swedish. But since 2010, majority-owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding of China. Is Volvo a European brand?

Or consider Skype — founded in Estonia and Luxembourg, built by an Estonian team, but acquired by Microsoft and now operated from the US. Former EU company.

We don't pretend these questions have clean answers. Instead, we use a tiered verification system that makes the distinction transparent rather than hiding it behind a single badge.
